I'm giving this 4 stars because I guess I don't understand the price and designer towels. These are designed in LA, California but made in China. I thought maybe the cotton would be super high quality but it feels like a normal towel to me. After the first wash it loses that softness that is sprayed on brand new towels (wax?) and leaves behind some residue that doesn't feel particularly good on my skin. I have an entire house reverse osmosis system so I know it's not my water.
It looks nice; I like that you can fold it multiple ways, and it happens to match my bathroom mats. It looks best in the guest bathroom where it'll be mostly undisturbed (almost never used). Would I buy this full price with my own money? Probably not. It would make a nice gift if embroidered.
I just received the Orelle bath towel. I love it!
Perfect thickness and very soft. This is a perfect baby shower gift and also for college student. It fits perfectly in my daughter‘s bathroom. I would highly recommend.
This Scalloped Trim Bath Towel by Orelle is super soft! Really like the light blue edging and scalloped cut adds a lovely touch to dress up bathroom decor. Very lightweight towel. Quality is nice, obviously well made but expected it to be a bit thicker. Feels like microfiber and is quite absorbent. Plus it doesn't leave lint. As for size, it's a nice towel adter bath or shower, but not a full bath towel size. Does not quite peivide coverage once out the shower. I've washed it once without fabric softener and it did change the texture a little bit still very absorbent. Price point is a bit high for towel size
This towel has a strange texture, almost like a thick microfiber cloth. It is 100% cotton, which I love, but does not meet the expectation of premium cotton or exceptional softness as listed. It is average at best. It is also smaller than a typical bath towel measuring 27 x 50. The scalloped edges are what was most appealing when I ordered it, but after one washing, they look wrinkled and used. It is useful, but wouldn’t use it for decor.
This hand towel is a nice size and is larger than the small, square face towels I was expecting. It’s more comparable to a kitchen hand towel which makes it versatile for different uses around the house. The scalloped edges and pink trim add a pretty, feminine touch to the areas in my house where I add a lot of pink ✨ 🩷
This towel is very soft, plush, and absorbent. The scalloped outline with colored trim border gives it a unique look. It makes me think of a cute, playful children's bathroom look.
I got the hand towel version, and it's generously oversized. My bathroom towel racks are perfectly sized for my other hand towels, but this one bunches up at the edges because it's a little too big, in case that's a big deal for you. It's both a little wider and longer than standard hand towels.
This towel is 100% cotton which I absolutely love. But apart from that, there is nothing extraordinary about it. The quality is fine, the scalloped edges are well sewn. It's not super thick or plush but rather a medium thickness similar to a microfiber hair towel or a baby's bath towel. It is fairly soft, but again, not so plush. The size is also smaller than you would expect for a "luxury" bath towel. It will get the job done, but it's not that towel that gives you plenty of space to wrap around with good coverage. It could use quite a bit more width and length. I have long hair and I would say this might be adequate as a hair towel but definitely isn't that large sized, thick, plush hotel towel quality. That all being said, there is nothing actually wrong with this towel; it's cute, absorbent, feels good on the skin, and washes well. Despite this, I fail to see what exactly warrants a price tag of nearly $40. While it is a nice towel, $40 should get you a 4 pack at least.
This is a scalloped edge hand towel made of 100% cotton. It is a medium to high quality towel. I’ve definitely felt more impressive quality towels than this but it is at least what it says it is, 100% cotton. It is moderately absorbent, it could use slight improvement. There’s just something about it that isn’t quite 100% natural and absorbent. It looks impressive at first glance but failed my quality test in sopping up a puddle on the counter.
I feel like this towel is meant to match in a guest bathroom more than made for quality and function. The scalloped edge is at done well, looks good, and it’s its own vibe. But the actual absorbency and hand feel is lacking.
The towel is very plush and soft but less thick than what i prefer and what you would expect from a normal towel or a hotel towel. It gives more of a blanket rather than towel feel so it doesn’t feel as absorbent. The towel also has some wrinkle marks when left on the towel rack. Still a cute and nice sized towel!
I ordered Orelle’s 100% cotton scalloped bath towel in white with blue trim from the Amazon Vine program and was less than pleased with this item. Not only is it teeny tiny for a bath towel with a current listed price of $38, but it’s extremely thin and not very absorbent. It measures at 27” X 54” - which is quite small for even a smaller sized bath towel, but it’s also mostly white, which has a tendency to show dirt quite easily. I would not recommend this product, as it’s poorly designed and poorly made.
I feel like this towel was specifically made for my powder room, it matches perfectly. This is the designer element that just made it look more polished. The scalloped edges are perfect for a visual aesthetic and the texture of the towel dries off my hands efficiently. It also looks great after drying my hands, no rumpled appearance. The size is slightly larger than a typical hand towel because of the scalloped edges. I appreciate that they added fabric to accommodate. The colored piping looks nice and holds up after washing and drying. The design of the colored edges allows for multiple options for hanging the towel various ways. Beautiful.
The Orelle scalloped bath towel is a decent size. I think it would be a good size for a child. If you are an adult who likes to wrap it around your body, it may be small. The towel is 100% cotton and is machine washable. It didn’t leave a lot of lint after drying it. I didn’t find the towel to be soft even after washing it. It’s not a plush towel. Medium in thickness. It’s absorbent and dries fairly quickly. The scalloped edges and light blue trim is cute. The bath towel snags easily (last picture shows a snag). I prefer plush soft towels that are absorbent. This towel will be my backup towel.
This is a nice towel! It's on the thinner side, but it still has plenty of thickness to feel absorbent and work well after a shower. It is nice and soft, and a beautiful bright white color, with a nice satin trim on the outside. Make sure you look at the measurements before you purchase as well, as this is not an oversized towel and not great for bigger people. It looks great though with other towels, and has a nice luxury touch like atowel you might find in a hotel. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a new towel who wants to try something more unique!
I really like this hand towel. It's extra thick, absorbent, and soft. Generously sized. The scalloped edges are beautiful, and it looks great in my bathroom.
This is a cute little hand towel with scalloped edges. There is good functional thickness, but the texture is not as fluffy and soft as pictured and expected. Pricey and fair value for what it is, not sure that it will stay as crisp and white. After some period of use.
This towel is easy to identify after doing laundry so it’s great for having a specific location – such as a particular bathroom, a particular purpose, or gym bag, etc. The colored border is simple, but it has some visual interest with the scallops.
The blue border fits in nicely with the blue and white beach theme of our bathroom. And the white means it’s easy to show as clean to the guests who want to dry their hands.
The towel is absorbent without being rough. The pile is soft and short, making it much nicer than many hand towels sold in sets.
This may be a standalone item, but it is great for where a one-off can work and stand out, where a bit of a premium look and feel is desirable. The color and shape give it an upgraded look compared to a plain white towel, while retaining the clean, bleached look.
This is exactly the kind of little home detail that makes a bathroom feel more finished without changing anything major.
The towel is 100% cotton and measures 16 x 30 inches, but the sage-green scalloped trim is what makes it special. You still get a classic white hand towel, just with enough detail to look intentionally decorative.
I especially love sage green for bathrooms because it works beautifully with wood, white, cream, botanical decor, natural textures, and all those calm spa-like color palettes.
This would look adorable hanging beside a vanity, in a guest bathroom, powder room, kitchen, or anywhere you want something functional that doesn’t look purely utilitarian.
And because the trim is relatively subtle, you can coordinate it with existing towels instead of replacing everything just to match.
Tiny upgrade? Absolutely.
But somehow the cute scalloped towel makes the entire sink area look like I tried harder. 😂🌿🙌
The image accurately represents the product.
I found this bath towel attractive and a little more decorative than a basic everyday towel. The cotton feels comfortable against my skin and gives the towel a familiar, practical feel for regular bathroom use. I like the scalloped blue trim because it adds just enough detail to make the towel look more polished without being overly ornate. The white and blue combination is clean and easy to coordinate with different bathroom colors. The size works well for everyday drying and does not feel excessively bulky when folded or stored. I also appreciate that the design can work just as well in a guest bathroom as it does for personal use. The decorative edge is a nice touch, although I would wash it with some care to help keep the trim looking neat over time. Because this is a single towel rather than a full set, someone outfitting an entire bathroom would need additional pieces. The overall look feels more elevated than a plain towel while still being practical enough for regular use. The cotton material and decorative finish make it feel like a reasonable value for someone who wants a simple bathroom upgrade.
I recommend this product.
I got this to add a little style and something different to my bathroom. I guess I was too heavily influenced by the scalloped toilet paper! Anyway, wanted something new and edgier and this fits the bill. Well, fit-wise, I do think it could've been slightly more generous on both dimensions, but it's functionally big enough. The cotton is a decent weight and absorbs fine, but you have to be careful when laundering it. Because the scalloped edge is heavily stitched, the trim will shrink at a different rate than the rest of the towel if you dry it on high heat, which makes the edges bunch up and look warped.
To keep the borders flat, wash it on a gentle cycle and pull it out of the drier while it is still a little damp to smooth the edges out by hand. Yes, a little hassley.
My only minor complaint is that the white fabric is slightly translucent when hung directly against a dark wall or a bright window. Otherise, it looks pretty upscale on the towel rack and gets the job done if you treat the edges right.
